A video would be great!  I'm having trouble finding a ringcraft class locally and any help we could get would be great ;)

The lady at the obedience is going to help me do stand instead of sit but I'd like a few more pointers without having to ask another daft question on here every other day :)

Have you been along to any champ shows to watch your breed being shown. All breeds are differently shown and so the best place to start as well as ringcraft is watching IMO.
Go along and speak to some exhibitors and ask for some pointers...or maybe arrange to meet your dogs breeder at the show.

There's no breed club over here so I'm going to have to dosome research. I know of an open show in March but her breeder is at Crufts so won't be attending but I think I'll go along and hassle the life out of the dane people that are there :)

you dont have to hassel..just chat.
I have learnt everything I know from the people 'round the ring'...I've never been made to feel a nuisance and have always had my questions answered with more advice than needed!!In turn I have had people new to the breed ask me about some things(for example at LKA was asked why the 2nd placed dogs have to be prepared to enter the ring for the challenge) and do my best to help.
I also still get advice from fellow exhibitors without asking when things aren't going great(My oldest elkie decided to lay on the floor at LKA in the ring cos he could smell a bitch and refused to move so a fellow exhibitor offered a solution for next time)
Don't be afraid to ask....they're only human!!
