Aaaaaggghhhh! Feel like ringing Santa up and telling him what to do with them! Spent a whole hour in lovely country park with Sparky having to stay right by my side instead of having a good run and sniff about, thanks to a family whose kids were roaring up and down on these things. And the NOISE they make - just like a real motorbike!!! Or am I just getting old? ;)

Hmmmm....no, they're just plain irritating!  And people have the cheek to look at you funny if your dog's bark loudly occassionaly - double-standard?  I think so!  :)

I agree with you all about the blessed articles, and roll on Easter when theyre all nicked, knacked or run out of petrol! Steve, dont even mention cyclists to me .. at least not those who think they have a right to terrorise helpless women, children and dogs out for a peaceful evening walk by roaring up behind them without lights on a footpath! Then they have the nerve not to obey red lights, give way to pedestrians and cycle on the pavement. Being environmentally friendly does not excuse law breaking!  And yes I do realise there are considerate cycllists out there, I just havent met em yet.

Nurse! My medication please!

It's only the petrol ones that are noisy, we had 2 electric ones and they were well quiet, and very fun to ride! The police then put a notice in our local paper saying it was illegal so we took em back to the shop and got all our money back! So had great fun riding round the streets for a month, but some people do mis use them (and have to agree the petrol ones drive me mad with the noise) and if you give them to the irresponsibles in this world then yes, they could be dangerous.

I was told by the police that its only the petrol ones that are illegal and the electric ones are all right.
