My 2 yr old miniature schnauzer puffed up today quite alarmingly. First his neck and face swelled. Then his balls swelled as well. Poor chap was running around scratching himself.

Brought him to the vet immediately and found out it was an allergic reaction (to what I do not know). He got his shots and things have calmed down alot.

The only thing I can think of is that he got hold of some ginger that dropped on the floor accidently and ate them. Unlikely as it sounds, it's the only "non normal" thing that I can think about.

I am so relieved he is getting some relief now.

Oh blimey, you must have been scared!!!! :O
