Me again asking dozy questions lol. Just thought I'd ask if it's normal for my wee girl who is due to have her pups in 11 days for her vagina to be slightly swollen. ( Its never really gone down after her mating). I noticed this morning however that her bits seem to be slightly more swollen. I've trawled through all my books and can't find anything to suggest this might happen. I wondered if anyone else had noticed this in one of their girls or if I should be taking her to the vet for a checkup. She is eating well and doesn't seem to be off colour.

Well the bitches vulva will become larger and flabbier, as the whole area has to stretch to allow pups to be born.  I have usually found that my mated bitches stayed a bit obvious in that department, and that the perineal area enlarged as pregnancy progressed.

completely normal! not to worry at all.
update us when the pups are born! :)
