I was hoping somebody could help me, I'm hoping to purchase a newfoundland dog at a reasonable rate. I was hoping somebody in this forum could put me in contact with breeder i live in the north west of England and my E mail address is mandyandjimdavies@hotmmail.co.uk

Guest the reasonable rate for a Newfoundland is £850/£900 any less than that and I would be worried. Along with their relative high purchase costs go expensive feeding costs and astronomical vet costs for medication. Your best plan would be to look on here for breeders and also contact the breed club who will help you with any information you may need before choosing a pup. You will also need to make sure that both the Dam and the Sire have been hip scored and are at or below the breed average, elbow scored and proved satisfactory, heart tested and clear or no worse than 1.
