Family of Alpha Mastiff bitch, Bullmastiff dog, Syd JRT, Sqweg JRT, Terrier-X. Pack sorted.
I've had this before with the JRT brothers. The new Terrier-X is 7mths old and has decided to hoof Syd out of his spot. Syd, JRT 14.5mth old, says NO. All except X-Terrier neutered. Syd is a defensive fighter, the X starts everything, everytime Robyn (X) submits Syd lets go. Then Robyn gets in again. Should I leave them to sort it out themselves? Or intervene? Syd is about 22lbs, Robyn 13lbs. The bill today was £56 at the vets!! For Robyn, he deserved everything he got. I prefer for them to sort it out themselves. Robyn's Dad was a swine all his life, he went missing at 14yrs old. Robyn is still pushing his luck, today he started a fight between Syd & the Bullmastiff. He growled at Syd, Bullmastiff thought Syd growled at him, hey presto, gang warfare. Granted no marks on Bullmastiff and only marks on JRT from Robyn.
My big dogs are so good.
Vinnie, Bullmastiff, all noise. He did have a scratch but nothing to write home about.
Why have little dogs got such a big dog ego???

Neuter the youngest one???

try Tardak injection first.....only thing i can think of really.

If the elder neutered dog wont let the younger entire dog take his role thats pretty much the only option, unless u are willing to take the risk that the younger dog MIGHT stop it when he matures......if he doesnt then the answer may be to rehome one of them.

Really though a MAJOR stab in the dark there and probably totally bum advice, just my random 5 am thoughts!
