Sure did!! Then proceeded to sit on a rock next to him and watch him take his last breath(after asking for help!!)

Yes she did. (Having seen last night's, but was called to the phone and missed tonight's! :(

- By jacki [gb] Date 02.01.04 22:08 UTC
ooooh lucy that was a bit harsh :D
- By chaliepud [gb] Date 02.01.04 22:28 UTC
It wasn't really a push though was it, more a struggle, and being a soap, it just happened to be on the edge of a steep precipice! If I was her I would have run down the hill screaming for help, I bet that strange old bloke saw something!
- By gina [gb] Date 02.01.04 23:22 UTC
Yes I agree it wasnt much of a push and he was getting on my nerves so much I think I would have pushed him much harder :p :p I would have run and screamed for help too but then they wouldnt get any story lines would they :D :D

Gina
- By jessieann [gb] Date 02.01.04 23:36 UTC
Wellard saved the day!
Barry wasn't pushed he grabbed her and she shook him off, but didn't get help...how sad are we?  We sat discussing this and other soaps in hospital with mum who has had 2 heart attacks within days and this is all she and sis wanted to talk about ...er  ??????
- By Julia [gb] Date 07.01.04 16:50 UTC
Ooooh, say what you mean Lucy!!! :D

I have to agree though.
- By LJS Date 07.01.04 16:52 UTC
:p
- By Jeangenie [gb] Date 02.01.04 22:43 UTC
But what happened tonight? Has Janine confessed? Are the underdressed teenage twits rescued? Has Wellard saved the day?

(I love my niece dearly, but she does pick her moments to phone!)
- By lucyandmeg [gb] Date 02.01.04 23:00 UTC
Yep the twits are saved. Gus and wellard found a disused phonebox thingy, gus rewired it and called an ambulance for help and wellard and gus led the ambulance back just in the nick of time of course. Janine made everything look like an accident, untied his shoelaces and then legged it back to her room and pretended she was never on the hills with Barry. She did her usual acting but paul saw right through it and said he was disgusted and wanted nothing more to do with her. (Hooray!!)
The question is have you been watching emmerdale Jeangenie? Looks like the dalmation pup might be here to stay.
- By Jeangenie [gb] Date 02.01.04 23:08 UTC
I keep meaning to watch Emmerdale to see the pup, but keep forgetting. It could be subconscious reaction from my brain, preventing me from getting hooked on even more drivel than I am already ... Neighbours and 'Stenders is about all the family can leave the room for ... :o
- By jeanniedean [gb] Date 02.01.04 23:13 UTC
Much as i like my soaps I wish someone had told the writers xmas & new year are supposed to be happy times. They've all had disasters

- By tcarlaidh Date 02.01.04 23:20 UTC
I'm just glad I don't live in these places, so many people die or get murdered for such small places ;)
- By Lindsay Date 03.01.04 12:16 UTC
Does anyone remember the competition they held last year (or even the year before???) for a dog to be in Emmerdale? A BC won, but i don't remember ever seeing it on the box!!!!

thank god the *missing on freezing cold scottish mountain in mini skirts an thin shirts * as ended. they would have been dead from hypothermia in real life. and wasnt it good of the others to wander off and find shelter leaving zoe an her mate to brave the elements on there own !!. as for barry......nobody could be that stupid.i didnt mind him at first but he took stupidity to unbelievable levels. and to think when he first came into eastenders he ran a thriving business with his father and was a supposed *wideboy*. one more look at his fat snivelling features and i would gladly have pushed him for jeanine and taken the rap.
- By digger [gb] Date 03.01.04 14:04 UTC
If the kids can be stupid enough to travel to Scotland in December in mini skirts and thin shirts, WHY can't Barry be gulible (sp?) enough to believe Janine - she's fooled plenty of other people in the past, and he's shown the trusting side of his nature too...........
- By tanni [gb] Date 03.01.04 16:41 UTC
because they are typical teenagers and he;s a middle aged man digger. !!.
- By annieee [gb] Date 03.01.04 13:08 UTC
JG - it also turns out that Tariq's dad is the Elvis impersonator !!! forgotten his name (is it Dan ??)
I'm hooked on Corrie, 'Stenders, and Emmergale!!! How sad is that! I never got into Brookie! :D
I have to say I'm is favour of 'leaks'. I didn't know tricia was going to die. Marlon had me in tears.

Love the pup!
Annieeeeeeee :)
- By sweep Date 03.01.04 13:18 UTC
Elvis Impersonater is Dan(the horrible man) Tariq is a chip of the old Block isn't he?!
I have watched Eastenders(Beastenders as Hubby calls it) - looking forward to Martin & Sonia storyline progressing. Watching Emmerdale omnibus tomorrow, is there a Puppy!!!
Did anyone see Corrie last night, did you see the scene with Dreary and her Mum, when Dreary was apologing to her Mum and about to let her stay, when she picked up the cases and they were empty.........do I remember more or less the exact same story in Eastenders with Pauline & Martin not so long ago? Hmmmmmmm.......
Can't wait to see if Janine gets her caught out eventually, or how the story line is played out as I beleive the actress, Charley Brooks, who plays Janine, is due to leave the Show.

Ive been getting into the soaps over the festive season, eastenders i normally watch but have re-introduced corrie & emmergale.  Infact the other half has been joining me. Does this mean out of all the TV channels theres been nothing else onLOL LOL
- By lucyandmeg [gb] Date 03.01.04 15:03 UTC
| think janine gets caught out by barry's ex wife, cos she smells a rat so to speak. I'm really hoping they are not going to string out the Tariq storyline, i hate when people on screen are kept in the dark but we all know the answer, dramatic irony is so frustrating.
And yes there is a gorgeous dalmatian puppy that Marlon bought for Trisha, but she didn't want it!!! (perhaps its just as well really!!!)
- By annieee [gb] Date 03.01.04 17:10 UTC
Just read next weeks TV critic Jaqui Stevens. She doesn't let on if Trisha is really really dead!!!! Is there still hope or will she be on life support for the next 18 episodes ???? I can't stand it. Has the actress decided to leave the soap? That always gives us a clue :D :D :D
- By perrodeagua [gb] Date 03.01.04 17:14 UTC
Poor Tricia and Marlon.  What's going to happen to Ashley, is Louise going to bugger off, will the dopey one get the man of her dreams or will she end up with Marlon.  Boy I'm sad :d
- By SaraN [gb] Date 03.01.04 17:21 UTC
I hear that there going to kill off all the fareras some time this year! (wise move easty!) Well unfortunately its only a rumour! fingers crossed! Why does everyone hate Barry!? I feel sorry for him... I mean, he did have to sleep with janine! Imagine all the diseases he could have :s
- By sweep Date 03.01.04 17:32 UTC
Re: Emmerdale - Bernice is coming back for a while!  Could it be for Tricia funeral? I bet she'll stir things up a bit.

Sweep :)
- By jackyjat [gb] Date 03.01.04 17:40 UTC
I've been sent an email with a whole list of storylines for the coming year in Eastenders.  I can post it if you like or will it spoil it for you all??

PS Stood on the touch line in thermals today whilst my youngest played football.  I would never ever have survived a whole night in the Scottish highlands as I couldn't cope with an hour in the Cotswolds in above average temperatures for January, I was FROZEN.  I could never have lasted as long as Zoe, even tho I was well wrapped!
- By jacki [gb] Date 03.01.04 18:36 UTC
zoe had all the camera lighting to keep her warm :D
- By SaraN [gb] Date 03.01.04 20:31 UTC
I got that e-mail as well! there seems to be a lot happening this year. Did anyone notice how the teenagers were in the harshest bit of the wind? why didnt they use the bus and move to a less windy space? I hate karina... In a way i wish she had blown away:D
- By annieee [gb] Date 04.01.04 10:26 UTC
Hi

Please send it to me. I love to hear whats about to happen. I can prepare myself for the worst. I hear Grant Mitchell is coming back to avenge Phil.
- By tanni [gb] Date 04.01.04 15:13 UTC
bernice comes back for trishas funeral an gets all jealous cos ashley is seeing louise.
- By perrodeagua [gb] Date 04.01.04 16:56 UTC
OOOhhhh, please e-mail it to me too!!
- By tohme Date 04.01.04 17:00 UTC
Personally I think it would be great if they bombed Watford Square or whatever it is called :D  Get rid of all those spotty, overweight, badly dressed saddos; I don't want to watch kitchen sink garbage.

At least Dallas, Dynasty et al had gorgeous men and women in fabulous clothes even if the plots were just as naff :D

I want to escape from reality when I turn on the TV not reach for the razor blades :(
- By sweep Date 05.01.04 08:53 UTC
Watched the Emmerdale Omnibus yesterday - I thought it was excellant.

- By eddie [gb] Date 06.01.04 16:29 UTC
its  getting better tohme at least with alfie moon and specer in the square the gud looks are comming back :-)
- By Carla Date 06.01.04 17:24 UTC
I agree. I'd rather dremel my ear lobes than watch Eastenders.

And as for Coronation Street - that Sarah Louise has had her dad killed, been kidnapped by a perv, had a teenage preganancy, nearly been murdered by her step-dad, and now her childs nutty granny is trying to throw them both off a church roof...all by the time she's 15??!!
GET REAL! Tosh.
- By tanni [gb] Date 07.01.04 12:46 UTC
and dont fget she's pregnant again chloe and todd dumps her at last minute when he finally admits he really is gay an runs off with her stepdads workmate.
- By Carla Date 07.01.04 13:34 UTC
happens all the time round here  :D
- By LJS Date 07.01.04 15:39 UTC
They are a bit like that round your neck of the woods :p :p
- By tanni [gb] Date 07.01.04 16:06 UTC
and is it just me but would anyone else like to slap flicks mother cilla into the middle of next week?????
- By Carla Date 07.01.04 17:22 UTC

:D
- By Julia [gb] Date 07.01.04 16:58 UTC
I have to to agree with every word!

Wouldn't it be nice, it, just for once, a storyline was happy from beginning to end.  But that'd be called a firytale.
- By eddie [gb] Date 09.01.04 21:24 UTC
No Juila if it was a happy ending it wouldnt be a fairytale it would be the end of eastenders lol :-)
- By SaraN [gb] Date 09.01.04 22:23 UTC
ohh come on!... how boring would it be if everything was ''normal'' in soaps and if everything was ''happy''! That's the whole point of soaps! You need to say to your selves  ''Well thank the lord I'm better off than little Mo'' :D Did anyone find it funny that Jeannine pulled Barry's ashes out of a shortbread bag?!? :D She is evil! And Charlie! What is he going to do to evil Graham!? OH THE SUSPENSE IS KILLING ME :D
- By Brainless [gb] Date 10.01.04 02:01 UTC
Oh a couple of bricks and DIY Castration sound good.
- By Jeangenie [gb] Date 10.01.04 08:40 UTC
Oh, but that's really painful, Brainless! Especially if you get your thumb caught between the bricks ... ;) :D
