hi my rottie is 7mths  old he has a lovey temperment but he has got me puzzled my friend came to visit with her 3 children and barney was very playfull with the 4yr old boy barney was pawing at his feet and grabing him by his arm as if he wanted to take him somewhere. i have got a 4yr old girl myself and a 6yr old so barney is used to children we allways have there friends come over to play. barny has never showen any aggression to any one and he wasnt showing aggression to this little boy he was showing playfulness . i put him in the garden to calm down but he was the same when he came back in. has anyone seen this behaviour be for.

might of been a warm up to trying to bonk him       ive seen youngsters pawing-and mouthing at children then go for a bear hug   :D  they seem to be fixated with the person of there choice,
