Thanks everyone for their help on getting my pup to look forward.  I did a lot more target work with her and at her first (and my first) breed show today she moved lovely and looked straight ahead.  I didn't talk to her which helped too.  to my surprise she was placed 2nd  :-)

  Wow, your pup learns fast!  Congratulations - you must be chuffed to get such a good placing.  I've never used a target stick - maybe I should look into how to use one!

Thanks evryone, I was so pleased with her, I know it may not sound like much to all of you who qualify for Crufts etc.  The judge was standing there looking at my pup and the winner and it took her ages, so I think it probably was a close call.  :-)
