I notice you put south West.  I live in Weston Super Mare and can`t say there are many breeders locally.  If there are I am not aware of them working/showing or belonging to any of the clubs.  If you want to email me I can give you more info about the breed and points of contact if you wish to pursue it further (I am not a breeder just an owner of 3!).  There a lots of shows around atm to give you an overview of the varying different builds, shapes and sizes huskies can come in.  It is also rally season so a good opportunity to meet lots of other husky owners.  There is one coming up in March at Oldown Country Park (off junction 16 M5 in Thornbury).

I am more than happy to talk husky as an unbiased owner so feel free to email me with any questions. 
I could spend ages writing everything I know about them but would be on here for an age so drop an email and I can be more specific "off-line"
