We are staying at home as a family :)
Partly becauseI always feel guilty leaving the kids with my mum and because I dont want to leave Gus alone either.
Getting some champagne in and eating the rest of the christmas goodies- that seem to be never ending ;)

After a busy Christmas we are looking forward to a quiet New Year, just me, husband and wee Barney (who needs lots of cuddles cause he is teething) with a bottle of champagne.  :)

We were going out with lots of friends but daughter (31) managed to fall down the stairs and not sure if she has broken a couple of toes and she is off to USA for her birthday on the 2nd Jan!! so looks like we will stay in and keep her company with the dogs and a few drinks of course :p :p

We are off to Hubby's parents tomorrow, and the Kipper is going to visit her Dad :D  The boys are coming with us and Ma-in-Law has a lovely new light coloured carpet - hope the weather stays dry :o  After that we're going to the boys' breeder for a couple of days, where nobody gives two hoots about the carpets :D The booze is in a box ready to be packed in the car, just as soon as I've seen the Kipper onto the bus!!!!!!!

Am getting a bit worried cos bad weather forecast for tomorrow and we have to travel down the M74, M6 and across the A66, with all the snow poles and wee walls for the sheep to hide behind in blizzards - yikes!!!

I'm going shopping for some new clothes, then out for the first time in years to my local pub :)

Then out riding Josh on New Years Day with my friend and her horse :) :) very excited

Dogs, Claire and I are going to a friend's. Don't know why, you'd think they'd come to me as it's my birthday :p  I think she feels sorry for me, you know 'imagine having a birthday THEN' I just hope it doesn't snow as she gets snowed in every time.  Second thoughts I hope it DOES snow :D

Ella has gone off to my parents and I miss her already.  We are madly packing - fly to New York tomorrow for a few days, arrive there around 4pm so will see the new year in in Times Square.  Don't know whether I'd rather be in a cottage in Dorset yet but will let you know.  Have a great time everyone!!!

If anyone is going to Hogmanay Street Parties in Aberdeen or Edinburgh, please spare a thought for my OH and his mates who set up/operate the lights and sound systems for the general merriment. Silverback is up in the Granite City tonight and if its blowing as hard up there as it is in Edinburgh hell be very cold despite his thermals. Hell also be pestering his boss for a hug of his little spaniel cos hell be missing Morse. Have fun everybody!:D
