How much water does a 6 week puppy drink ? Mine seems to drink quite a bit. She'll sleep, wake and drink and drink and drink. Cycle repeats pretty frequently. She's the runt of the little and is really the smallest in the pack. One head smaller than the biggest. Seems happy otherwise but I'm kind of worried. First time puppy owner.

Welcome to the forum. You do not say what breed she is or what food you feed her on? Some dogs and some breeds are just aquaholics :D

She is a 6 week old miniature schnauzer. the last in her litter so she is extremely small for her age. Currently on Solid Gold puppy kibbles.

Is she given her food dry or moistened? If dry, then she will need to drink loads of water to make up for the water not being in the food.

Hi. It's dry. So I guess the water intake is ok. She eats a lot and poos a lot. Very cute.

Hi Happy

If you have not already done so then put a cube of her food into water and see who much it swells up.  This will give you some idea of how much fluid she will need to take in to digest her food.
