Please could someone help us we are looking for a puppy (staffordshire bull terrier) but we have no idea where to look. We are from South Wales and we have been told that this is a good family dog. If anyone could please help us we would be make our day.
Many Thanks to everyone.

Although staffys are brilliant dogs and excellent with children I would do some research just to make sure it is the right dog for you. :)
I have had  Staffs in the family for 16 years now and I adore them but you do need to buy from a reputable breeder who also breeds for temperament as well as looks
Some can be dog aggessive and you need to know how to be able to deal with this . They are also very strong little dogs who can be exciteable but are 100% loyal and trusting . They can become bored when left along for long periods and therefore some can be "chewers" as a result of their boredom . They need regular excercise but like their home comforts too - like slobbing out on the sofa.
If you feel this is definately the breed you want then why not join the Board and we can chat more on what exactly you are looking for as regard to type and colour ad I wil see if I can point you in the right direction

I love staffies and had done lots of research into them as I was planning on buying one earlier in the year - as it happens I ended up with Dizzy the great dane so the staffie will have to wait a little longer :)

There are a few really helpful staffy owners on the board - lel being one of them;) - so I would really recommend that you join and let them help and advise you on finding the right pup and everything that comes after that :)

Good luck.
