My puppy is 3 months old. We just adopted her from the Humane Society and i was concerned about her cough and lethargy. She has been on antibiotics for 5 days now and her cough seems better but now has developed a yellow discharge from her nose. The vet says he's not concerned. Should I be concerned? or is this just a normal symptom of kennel cough?
Hi, have the A/B`s finished now, how long was the course of them? Yellow discharge is usually a sign of some sort of infection, I`d take her back to the vet & tell him your concerned. When my dogs have had KC they never had that, but I believe some dogs do get it.

See the vet as soon as you can. Any discharge, apart from clear water, from the nose is not a good sign and the pup should see a vet if there is.
I would suggest you contact the Humane Society and see what they are treating the other dogs with this problem with (and ask what it is).
Your vet may not have been concerned because he thought the anti-biotics would cure it but if they haven't then definitly visit him again.
