I have a westie who is 8 mths he is fed cesar and biscuit but he is passing wind all the time he even gets up smells and runs away.  Would changing him to complete dry food help and do I do this gradually?  Is there any other food I can give him aswell?

Hi
yes it is best to do this gradually- and to feed the food mixed in with his old food and gradually increase the amounts of new compared to old food

You might want to consider his teeth too when thinking about types of diet :) - Dry, complete foods are very popular these days because they are abrasive and help clean dog's teeth they also promote good, firm stools!  I've changed my dog's food lately from pedigree (dry) to bakers (dry) because every time we visited friends who had bakers down she would pinch some and I have to say she loves it (her poo's dont seem to smell as bad either!) - I did it over five days just adding a bit of the new food, more and more every day, whilst decreasing the amount of the old stuff until you have a complete cross over!
