Tummy podgy from Christmas Dinner...kids playing with their toys on the carpet...lying on the sofa feeling sleep drawing closer...and Nellie bear snoring contentedly in my ear! :)
A Bond film too, what a bonus.

Happy Christmas!  Had a lovely day - hubby did all the dinner, etc, then I took the dogs on the beach afterwards - a bit drizzly but really mild - just nice for a good walk!  Now doing nothing, and looking forward to watching Fools & Horses later!  Wish every day was like this!!

Got drunk last night with a couple of other Spanish Water Dog owners, 5 SWD's and a mongrel all together in one house and not a cross word between them.  Left friends house this morning, did the last of my wrapping round to parents for Christmas dinner, popped back home to sort the dogs out and then back to parents house again tonight, paradise!!!

Can't wait for tomorrow, hopefully out walking with a few SWD owners and then to the pub!

We had a good christmas and certainly never forget it
we popped the turkey in the oven and all had 40 winks while it cooked
woke up to a room full of smoke and the oven in flames
the fat from the turkey had ignited and they were about 3 foot high
we couldnt open the oven door then when we did the flames licked out the door, finally sorted that out....then as closing the the door (after taking the turkey out) a huge ceramic bowl we keep the dog mixer in smashed all over the floor. :-) :-)

Very quiet Christmas here :) Minibeasts Barbie Violin was not as annoying as feared, Gothboy and Satan Filly actually had done present shopping and loved their TV/VC combis, Morse and Silverback disappeared for hours playing with friends ( no training on Christmas he cried) and Morse unwrapped his parcel when he got home. Nearly had a dinner disaster by laying a  baking parchment lined tray of strudel on top of the gas cooker then turning on a ring for vegetables - WHoosh! and used cream to extinguish. Then met lots of dog friends on evening walk some I hadnt seen for ages and finished the day lying on settee with dog at foot watching Grumpy Old Men at Christmas.:D So peaceful compared to the battle field of yore with little kids.
