my staffy has cut her toe pad its very bad but with previous dogs having had cut pads before we are told that their is nothing you can do about it as they can not stitch it .  ( as told by irish vets ) now after 3 days it is looking good we have kept it clean and bandaged  ,antiseptic spray  . any advice about it would be greatly appreciated.

I've used Aloe Vera gel on cuts twice and they healed very quickly. The cuts were both between the pads though, not actually on them.

My staff cut his pad on glass and I put cream on it (sudocreme).  It healed up great and you wouldn't think that he had cut it after about a week.
