WE LIVE NEAR GUILDFORD SURREY,BUT ON BOXING DAY WE ARE TAKING THE DOGS TO THE BEACH,WE ALWAYS GO TO LITTLEHAMPTON,BUT WOULD LIKE TO GO SOME WHERE DIFFERENT,WITH SAND NOT PEDDLES,
I DO NOT MIND TRAVELING A DISTANCE TO A GOOD  ONE.

ANY NICE ONE OUT THERE PLEASE.

What about the Isle of White? I seem to remember eating sand sandwiches there in my youth. Not been there for years though.

Best wishes, John

What about Camber Sands, near Rye, East Sussex.  We usually go there over the Christmas holidays.  Loads of sand, if the tide is out there are lots of water pools, the dogs love them,

I used to fish out there in the middle years ago. We used to borrow a boat from a friend, moored on the Hamble.

What about Hayling Island then?

Best wishes, John

We go to Bognor, loads of dog walkers there usually, the far end of the beach near the picnic area and cafe, away from the shops and pier is sand when the tide is out!

But our favourites are Selsey bill or Gosport (the cafe in Gosport stays open all year except christmas day!) mmmm hot chocolate and toasted sarnies!
We go on the A32 country route to Gosport, continue on through the town pass a Total garage on your left, turn left Jellico Avenue, continue to end T junction, turn right then left into carpark.Lots of doggie bins, grassy areas, few pebbles but sand when tide is out!

Our puppy is only 9weeks but may go to the seaside wrapped in hubby's fleece!so look out for a black and white nose under someone's jacket!

Enjoy your day!
Jacqueline.

Camber Sands (as suggested by Sandrah) is great - or for something nearer have you tried West Wittering?  Usually full of good natured dogs and owners.

I agree, Camber Sands.

Unless it is windy and a blizzard is coming down.  Did this one day with a friend and it was not exacly pleasant for us or the dogs.
