My 2 year old Choc Lab seems to have developed a choking cough.  He looks and sounds as if he is choking and sometimes coughs up mucous.  He seems to do this more at night than during the day.  He stills eats and drinks normally and will play as if nothing is wrong with him.

I have an appointment at the vets later today, but does anyone know what may be causing this?

Hi Josie -It could be Kennel cough -when you go to the vet, leave the dog in the car and the vet will probably come out to you ( just to be on the safe side ) ;)
