Hi there,could eneyone tell me why my 4yr old bitch some times barks like a hiena? she mostly does it cats &other dogs?
      Do eneyother pei owners have this? is it only bitches? because my dog has never done this?

Hi.....many shar pei have this high pitched bark, especially when they see another dog, or cat in your case. I have a blue girl here that does the same thing everytime she wants my attention, or when it's feed time.....lol......Sue.

Hi Andy.....my current dogs range from 10 weeks of age, up to 6 years old. The oldest one we have lives with the inlaws & he is 8 now. If our first pei was still alive, then we would have been 10 yrs old next year. I've recently lost a 6 yr old & a 3 yr old.......Sue.

     Hi there, im sorry to here about you recent loss it must be hard,evern though you have others,id hate to lose one of mine.Are your peis  different colours,coats etc? i would love a blue or a choc evern a flowerd one!! but if i could & had more room id have more!! :@)

Andy....the shar pei are very moreish......LOL You have one & you want half a dozen, i couldn't be without any of mine. At the moment we have apricot, red fawn, black, chocolate & blue here. We will shortly be adding a lilac to the gang, so that will be exciting for the future.
