hi molly finished her season at the end of october her nipples are still looking swollen .should this be anything to worry about ,in herself she is fine. thanks x

could she be pregnant? If not, possibly a phantom pregnancy......
Most likely a phantom pregnancy, this would be coming up for when puppies would be due had she been mated, she may well produce milk and start digging nests, so watch out.

hi thanks for your replys,she has not been mated and there is no chance she could be pregnant,so a phantom could well be it,at the moment she looks like she has udders i think a good milking and she will be fine. have a happy christmas x

Has your dog's nipples gone down yet? My Daisy has the same thing. She had her season around Sept./Oct. also. She is not pregnant but has giant saggy nipples. If she was pregnant, which is impossible, she would have given birth weeks ago. So shouldn't the phantom thing be over? When do you think the swelling will go down?

hi, no mollys nipples are still swollen especially the lower four ,it looks even worse when she sits down, the vet did say it could be a phantom pregnancy and to look out for any signs of milk, and just keep an eye on her x
