is it possible that at 16months Kara(my isbt) is still growing? I know i have read that they stop at a year and fill out until they are about 2 but recenty i have noticed that her rear end is now higher and she slopes down towards her head (if that makes any sense) lol and i know that some breeds do grow this way dont they?

Dogs can & do continue growing until the are 2 or more but not the long bones, the bum high stage is usually between 4 and 8 months after that the topline should level out if it is going to. Having said that I have know idea if the ISBT should have a level topline or not.

Edit to say: has she damaged her pasterns (wrist) as if that has collapse it may make her look bum high.

a good way to tell is by their front legs if they still have little nobbly bits like knees then they are still growing but if the bone is straight they are fully grown..................hope this helps
