Can anyone please tell me whats happened to brazil nuts, :(  i have been to Safeway, tesco and sainsburys and no one has any, the only ones i can fine are already shelled which is not the same, they are my daughters favorite, i wondered if they had a problem with them?

our local fruit and veg stall sells them.also mixed bags of nuts . i love hazelnuts in their shells best. nothing like sitting here on xmas eve red in the face trying to crack the shells ...lol...which then fly round the room like mini missiles.:)

I was surprised that there were no brazil nuts in Tesco yesterday and wondered why.  I remember being told about 20 years ago that Brazil nuts were banned in Norway and Denmark because they were poisonous. I still love them though!

NOOOOOO!!!! why did this have to happen?! I LOVE brazil nuts- and i can relate to the flecks of shells speeding round the room, and finding them days later when you walk in without your slippers *OUCH*, but it is totally worth it!

But i am sure i have seen the chocolate coated ones in BHS???

I got mine in Julian Graves in Cheltenham. Is this a chain of shops across the country? It sells all sorts of dried fruit and nuts, they had loads. :p
