I've been trying to find a breeder to purchase a Kromfohrlander puppy for my son for Christmas. We have been unsuccessful in finding any information about breeders. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I can be contacted at Taylor@songjam.com. Thank you for any help

1) It is never a good idea to get a dog as a present. Your son may get bored after a few days- who will be there to clean the mess up and train it?
2) no respectable breeder would sell a pup for a present ESPECIALLY at xmas
3) dont you think you are leaving it a bit late looking for a pup 5 days before xmas? People wait years to get the dog they want. No good breeder will just give you a pup as simple as that. You need to visit them etc, they need to check you are responsable etc- in other words- no chance. Sorry.

This breed is recognised by the FCI, but not by the KC. I've certainly never heard of any in the UK which country are you in? I gather it is a newish (postwar) German breed. You may have to do some googling for info about breeders, and prepare for a long wait, as they may be very few and far between. But certainly no good breeder would sell you a pup for Christmas.
OK.... well at 5 days before xmas it's a bit late to get one now. There is only one in this country, a bitch and that is somewhere in Devon, and it has been imported recently. These people are, I think aiming to import a dog next year to hopefully have a litter. They are very, very good at agility and were successful at the 2002 agility WC's. But... I very much doubt you'll get one before christmas, you'll be lucky if you get one at all within the next few years!

Yes- they do look like JRT, dont they? they are also in the terrier group- and 15-18". Wondering why the poster isnt at all interested in the JRT or parsons- as the parsons is recognised in the uk?
