I have a 7 month old Shih Tzu who is having her first season we are now into the 4th week is this normal I have never had a bitch before I have read a lot on the subject but they all say 21 days for a season. she is well in herself eating well very active and a joy to have.

Our German Pointer bitch recently went through her first season at ten months old, hers too lasted four weeks so I guess it's normal!
