Does anyone know if it is legal to park a caravan in a carpark? The reason I'm asking is, that some relatively new neighbours (across the street) have purchased a caravan. They had parked it as near to their own house as possible, but their neighbour said it was blocking her view, so now they've moved it, still in the same car park, to outside of my door???. Not too bothered about the view, but wary of the kids around here climbing on it, starting fires etc (some of them are awful).
They are really nasty people, not the type you "mess" with, they own two GSD's which are allowed to roam loose at times, and are continually barking, and have tried to attack mine on occassions, when mine have been on lead, out for a walk.
I get worried sometimes in case people think the barking is from my dogs. fortunately, my 2 don't respond.

Nothing against caravans, used to own one myself, but paid for storage when I wasn't using it.

Anyway, just wanted to know if they can legally park their caravan in the public carpark (surrounded by houses, off street parking)? As if so, looks like I'm stuck with it? Tried searching the net, to no avail!

Thanks in advance for any help?

love Kay (Kayanarra)

I think it would depend on wether the car park was privately owned or council property, if it is council owned a quick phone call should get some action, but if it is privately owned it is up to the owners to get an eviction order

It's council owned, and they live in council property, where as mine is now private (ex-council). I'll keep you updated with progress (If any).

Contact the council and say someone seems to have abandoned a caravan on the car park outside your home, would they move it please.

Jackies idea is the best...i would be 99% sure that they are not allowed to leave it in a council owned car park & a call to say it has been abandoned there will soon get it shifted!!:)

Its not usually allowed, but I'd do what Jackie H suggested...
