Hi all!  I was wondering if anyone has ever experienced a VERY picky pregnant Westie.  She is in her 7th week and we've been going through this now for almost two weeks.  She will eat a little then turn her nose up at anymore.  She practially refuses to eat any puppy kibbles at all!  I've made her chicken, liver, beef, eggs, cottage cheese, rice; etc and she will eat a little of it and then quit.  I've been offering her food at least 3 times daily and have been supplementing with a high protein, high calorie wet dog food which she will lick from a spoon.  She acts fine in every other way.  No fever, she's alert, her bowel movements are fine, she's not throwing up.  One thing that's strange to me...she will take your hand off for a carrot!!  I've not given her alot of them because I've read where too much Vitamin A can cause birth defects in the pups if given too much.  This is her 3rd litter and the first time she has done this....any help, encouragement, info would be MUCH appreciated!  She is due December 28th.  Thanks from Mobile Alabama, USA...
