I have got a pup who is due to get his injections tonight. Can anybody tell me when he is allowed out, how often should I take him. I know he wont be out for a couple of weeks , but just thought I would ask.

Ask your vet, he will be more familiar with the conditions particular to your area.  Just remember that you will be bringing back on your shoes all the things you are protecting him against!  I take my dogs out from day one but that is my personal choice and risk.  If you have not got a giant breed you should be taking him out for a few minutes each day carrying him at least or put him in an old pushchair to be exposed to sights and sounds he needs to get used to.

The window of socialisation closes at around 16 - 18 weeks and so you must pack in a LOT of experiences in this small period.
