I know in the summer there was some discussion about walking dogs on hot pavements and while walking Darcy this morning I wondered if the same applied when the weathers so cold.

Does everyone walk their dogs as normal in the winter

Only thing about winter is to watch out for their feet when the roads and pavements are salted/gritted.  Mine go out as normal in winter, they enjoy their walks even more then in the wearmer weather, and are full of the joys of (well not Sporing) but Winter, but they are a Nordic breed.

Was getting somewhat concerned to notice signs of age in my 11 1/2 year old in the summer.  Less spring in hewr step, dropping her tail etc, made me feel quite sad.

Tjhe first cold snap we had and she was like a Spring Lamb, and has lost years!!!

Oh Darcy definitely seems to enjoy the colder weather more and has no sympathy for me with my million layers michelin man outfits trying to stay warm.

I was just worried it might be bad for her pads.
