Took Toby to the vets this morning to be weighed for him worming tabs, well what a whopper he weighed in at 37.8kg and he is only 9 months old but the vet said he isnt over weight he is just a big boy and beautiful, another lady there whom has 4 black labs fell in love with him, he is such a show off, but if youve got it why not flaunt it

My lab weighed 30kg at six months.  Not overweight, just a big boy!  The only downside is that because he is big people think he is older than he is.  Had a number of people (including a lab breeder) who thought he was nine months when he had just coming up to seven months.  My son, now 17 and 6'4" was always the tallest in the class despite being the youngest and when he was young people always expected more from him thinking he was older!

i know what you mean jenp when anyone comes up to toby i tell them he is only 9 months, because he is so big they dont realize that he is only a pup and he can be boistrous,

Hi

I took my newfie pup for worming tabs at 6 months she weighed in at 36 kilos, she is now 8 months old and what seems like about 10 stone now as she was sat on my knee earlier (well a bit of her bum was)
