Well I have done the research and picked the breed I thinks would best suit my needs and life style. THen I did the research into all the breeders I could find in Canada and the US. I checked out the dogs pedigrees and looks. Plus what kinds of training any of the dogs in the lines had. In this way I narrowed down my search. Now I finally found my breeder. She is in Kansas. She and I have talked via emails and she would love to have me as a potential forever home for one of her up coming pups. She has 3 white german shepard bitches that are going to have litters soon. My husband and I checked the back ground of each and every bitch and dog from the mating pairs. We fell in love with the pair due to have a litter in the middle of December. So on Friday my husband and I are mail a hundred dollar deposit to her. She is going to put us down for one of the top females from the litter.

I am so excited. We will be getting our new family member at the end of Febuary or begining of March. Unfortunately she will have to ship us our new pup but the cost to travel to get her is way to high. As it is this pup will cost us about 2000 canadian. She is totally worth it though. I can't wait till the pups are born and we start reseiving pictures.

i think, if you read the post, that it is a white german shepard.

Congrats. Are all three bitches having litters? is this not a puppy farm?

I think I would go out and see the mother and the breeders set up before mailing  any money to them.  You should also see the mother with the pups when at the right age.

Going to the kennels is ideally the way to go but it's not always as easy as getting in the car :(

We're in Northern Ireland and even getting a pup from England take a lot more effort than a day out - especially if yu have other animals and kids to consider

Just keep in touch with the breeder and ask lots of questions - make sure she will be there to offer you support after you receive the pup, maybe by talking to others who have had pups from her?

Good luck with her :)

Hi Nicole,
Would this be a 'Hoofprint'  puppy?
Debbie.

'Hoofprint'  is an affix, reknowned through the world of White GSDs and a lucky lady she is if it is from the 'Hoofprint' line. :)
