*oh i see your breed has no bad little traites they go through before reaching adult hood?*

You tell me, you seem to be the expert.

And what I tell all of my puppy buyers is everything they need to know.

Does that answer your question? Let me know if it doesn`t & I`ll try to explain it in a simpler manner. :)

oh i see the answer is no you don't! you just tell them what they need to know but nothing that may make them think twice! try it on your next buyers if they still want to buy you can be sure then they know what their in for and leave with the pup well prepared.

I see you really don`t understand English do you? Thats why you haven`t got a clue what your talking about.
Reread my answer & see what you`ve missed, or better still I`ll point it out to you. Look up in a dictionary the meaning of *everything*

but its ok if they don't have an income! cos your give them the puppy? so how will they pay for *everything*

I hate repeating myself, its so time consuming!!
I know what I`ve written is too complicated for someone like you to understand so I`ll sleep on it & see if I can think of a simpler way to explain. :)

Jacki R, Shaunie...what ever your name is, theres a forum that would suit you down to the ground if you want to argue with people over the internet, it would be absolutely perfect for you.

Join the fight club, and argue and insult people on there to your hearts content, dont do it on here as people on here are willing to give out very good advice.
Heres the link for you to join argumentitive debates on there, being as thats what you seem to enjoy doin here. http://www.brightonlife.com/forums/ you should feel right at home in the fight club.
Have a nice day :-)

Do you know what - I just think we have wasted our time and efforts on a WUM!:D    Normally I spot a troll!

If yoiu are not a troll Jackie R - and some of us go off line because we have dogs to walk, feed and play with, jobs to go to - not because we cannot be ar**d to keep on posting to someone with a closed mind!

For the record, all good breeders will take back puppies - in fact in most puppy contracts it is a point of contract that if for any reason the puppy/dog has to leave the owners, it MUST be offered back to the original breeder who will help arrange the new home and will take it back until the new home can be sorted out.

Just LISTEN for goodness sake to what has been said here - of course there are bad breeders - you seem to know most of them it seems - but don't tar us all with the same brush.

Seems we`ve all been fooled

Anyway thought I`d better tell you the whole story about Gwyneth, the pup I made a present of. The family had been waiting for a dog for quite a while & then came & picked one of the males, his name was Reddy. Most of you know what happened to Reddy, after he took sick they had a chat with me & the vet & they decided to wait for him to get better & used to visit him, then a few dys before he was going home to them parvo struck & he died. They were broken hearted, 2wks later the daughter rang & said her dad had taken it hard so her & her mum had decided to take a bitch, if that was alright. Anyway to cut a long story short they took Gwyneth, when it came time to pay for her I couldn`t take any money, I didn`t have it in me just felt they`d been thru it with us. So thats Gwyneth`s story, uncut & unedited!
I`m a lousy business woman :D

Christine I dont feel you have to explain yourself with regards to this puppy and her new family . You did what you felt was right so dont feel you have to explain your actions to someone like this :) Its none of her business!
- By jackie r [gb] Date 13.12.03 11:10 UTC
well christine that took you long enough but you said you gave the pup away as the buyer had been made redundant??  and you still never answered the question is it responsible for a breeder to give someone who is out of work a puppy? like you said you did!

everyone else who has insulted me the saying birds of a feather flock together comes to mind, everyone is entitled to free speech but obviously not on champ dogs i am NOT a troll i do OWN a dog and i have my own opinions and when someone has a dig about a opinion i have i will dig back, do not tell me i should'nt be on here who made you  a moderator?

Hi Liberty, who`s Shaunie, is that the kid from a while back?

- By jackie r [gb] Date 13.12.03 11:13 UTC
you should be careful about making those kind of accusations, i wil be reporting this to the moderators because thats out of order!!!

and christine your still avoiding the question!!! stop trying to change the subject, you lot got no opinion about giving a puppy to someone who is out of work, but won't sell someone a pup who will be leaving it for a few hours to go to work to pay for all the things a puppy will need , a bit one sided as usual but of course christine is one of your click!

Up to 3 years ago I showed rough collies and over a period of about 34 years had 8 litters,  the last litter 4 years ago.  Puppies sell for about £300 - £400 average I think for a lot of breeds.  My insurance doesn't cover whelping.  Any reputable breeder will not change their mind, as happened to your friend Jackie r, once a potenital buyer is approved by yourself, and they have approved you and the puppy has been booked, this is adhered to.  Most of the people on this Board, appear to be very honest and genuine people who breed for the good of their own chosen breed, and yes you are entitled to your opinion, we all are, but please do not tar everyone with the same brush, whether they make money or not, is immaterial, producing sound healthy puppies, and find those same puppies the very best homes they can IS.
