can anyone help please.  we are a family with two small children looking for a small dog - the problem being that I am allergic to dog hair, although my reactions differ according to the breed of animal.  obviously longer, thicker haired dogs affect me more.  i have been advised that the borders/yorkshire and bedlington terriers are best as their hair type is fine and silky and may not affect me too adversely.  i would be really grateful for any advise from owners.
