I posted here last week asking for advice re boxer dog pulling on walks.  Thanks for all the replies.

I ordered the canac gentle leader and it came yesterday.  Decided to order both the medium/large puppy and adult medium.  The puppy one does not fit over his mouth at all but the adult one does ( he is just over five months old)

We tried it on a few times yesterday, lots of head shaking, legs waving and then lying down.  Had a go today in the house for a few mins and he wasnt too bad.  Went out tonite for a short walk to see how we got on.  It's marvellous he was with me the whole time ( apart from the odd jumping and trying to rub it off).  So hopefully a combination of this and lots of practising heal work we will eventually be able to walk nicely on a normal collar.

On a different note i decided to make some liver cake to use for training.  Wasn't keen on the mixture or the smell whilst cooking.  Thought I'd give sir a little try whilst it was cooling down, I did well to keep my fingers intact!! the downside of eating liver cake seems to be flatulence.  Very noticeable at the training class last nite had to keep wafting his bum and making jokes, didnt want the others to think it was me!!

he is now snoring his head of after helping me iron (sat on the duvet cover i was trying to iron) and then helping mummy with her bath, decided to lick the taps and drink the bubble bath ??!
