hey, this is my first time logged in...... im crazy about staffes, always have bee...was born into a family with three and have had one everyday untill I turned 23......its been a year now without one a cheeky companion and i desperatly miss not having one.
It's not fair for me to have a little staffer yet though because Im out of the house for an average of 6-7 hrs a day.  I have a question though...and i was wondering of anyone out there could help?
I live in North London, Finsbury park, and I would love to help out at any rescue homes, or offer dog walking services to anyone sort of in the area...or even if it was a bit of a trek....who might need a hand...

any ideas?????????

if you look on www.dogpages.org.uk they have a list of animal rescu centres - even breed specific centres - so there's bound to be one near you :)

Welcome to cd by the way - There's lots of us on here who adore staffies too :)

Hi Sofie
I think thats a lovely thing to do :)
Staffy rescues (like any other breeds) need as much help as they can get .
Once you have had the love of a Staffy its hard to move to another breed  :D
Dont forget -other Rescue centres both local and RSPCA and the like also house Staffys sometimes and are needing volunteers all the time whether its donating , helping out in shops , dog walking and kennel cleaning or house vetting

Or you could try the Cinnamon trust they look for volunteers who can walk a dog on a regular basis for the elderly/disabled/etc who can't get out to walk their dog on a regular basis. Its really enjoyable and you build up a rapore with the owner who is in my experience really grateful that you can help.
