Topic Dog Boards / Feeding / Will she ever stop?

All our puppies have gone to their new homes apart from Luke, who we're keeping. He obviously missed his litter-mates last night, but this morning was happily feeding from Mum again! I thought she's almost dried up - so presumably this is just a comfort thing? Is it likely to interfere with him developing active immunity from his vaccinations? And presumably it will stop eventually....will it???

Eventually she will get fed up of his attempts and stop him - I have a bitch with 4  pups at 7 wks and a 4mth old bitch from another breeder who sneaks in for a feed, mother doesn't seem to mind and it's certainly sparked a growth spurt on the older pup as she is about a mth behind in her growth for some reason.
