Hi Guest, the best thing to do here is to go back and see Ella's breeder. They will be able to tell you whether or not Ella is suitable to be bred from, and also tell you what KC/BVA health tests must be done. Then they will be able to suggest a compatible stud dog. You will need about £1000, of spare cash, because breeding a litter is an expensive business. I bred my first litter this year, and only two puppies were born and I kept them both, so no money was made, and I'm out of pocket the £1000. You will also need to take quite a few weeks off work to care for the bitch and her litter,or make some very good dog sitting arrangements. You will also need to take into account that as long as everything goes well you'll have lots of potential puppy buyers to 'vet' and decide if they are good enough to have one of you babies entrusted to them. Also, if you make a wrong decision, would you be able to take the puppy back a any time in its life if the owner doesn't or cannot keep it. This breeding lark is not for the faint hearted, it's very hard work, as I found out and I only had 2 to worry about. Good Luck with whatever you decide.
