Hello,

I have racked my brains until it's sore trying to think up a gift for my manageress, karen.  We usually spend about £10-£15 on each other but I'm so out of ideas.   She likes her garden, she has a Westie but she isn't into "doggy" gifts.  I thought of paying for a massage as she suffers from a bad back but is this appropriate?   She doesn't drink, her children are grown up, so???????????

Some people arent keen on massage but if you know she would like it then why not get it.  If you arent sure you could always get vouchers for a beauty salon who do massages, then if she doesnt fancy a massage she could get her nails done or something.

Just a thought

Claire :)

Lush her out ;)

Go to a local LUSH shop or visit Lush.co.uk ...I love lush products ...such smashing bath stuff ...and they do sparkly , twinkly bath bombs etc. I bought the twinkly bath box for a tenner ....loads of stuff in it :)

What about an outdoor plant pot from a garden centre. Or M&S do a lovely potted orchid for about £15.
Does she like days out, a metal flask and/or picnic rug is a bit different. If I think of anything else I will post later.

I had thought of getting a few shrubs from a garden centre as the ones on sale now will be "Winter colour" ones and everyone tends to forget their garden in winter.

Melody, I will check out Lush.  Doubt Karen knows about them, so it would be something different.   Thing is it's her birthday on the 4th January too so I'll have to rack my brains again then!

LUSH is good :) There is one in Victoria Station which I go to. Tell your friend that you will buy her alcohol to go with it when you take her for a drink :D - I suppose she has to be a good friend though - mine was :p :p

A friend of mine once bought me a voucher for a facial massage.  I had never had one before, but it was fantastic!  I would recommend it, and it was a lovely present, a bit different (and you don't have to take your clothes off ;).
