Does anyone have any info on the above, believe they originate from South Africa, but could be wrong, have tried Google but get to many results. Any help or ULR's would help, it is somewhat urgent. Thanks.

Considering the urgency, I'm sorry you haven't had any responses. However I don't know what Sutherland tablets are or what they're for. Hope you have more luck later when the board gets more busy.

Thanks Dawn, to be fair, I am not sure what they are, but we have been advised to get them and I had hoped that some of the members who were into herbal medicine would be able to give me some info. Only thing I know is that someone mentioned either South Africa or South America and that info, such as it is, came from a vet in New Zealand
Sorry Jackie I`ve never heard of them. Sounds like a brand name to me, if you know what they`re for that might help identify them.

They have been suggested for use by a young woman who has (M**) Yuppy flu, the correct escapes me this morning. She has been very ill for about 4 months and nothing the doctor of hospital can suggest has helped at all.
sorry to be a bit vauge suffering from normal flu myself.
Oh right, is that ME, where they get pains all over & something to do with the immune system & very tired all the time?

Yep thats correct.
It's M.E. Myalgic Encephalomyelitis :) So sorry your friend isn't well, and you too. :( I've searched and searched but can only find this (second item from top)
http://www.fda.gov/ora/oasis/4/ora_oasis_c_za.htmlI did find this however, about the Sutherlandia frutescens, which is a plant. It says it helps with all sorts of things including M.E. so I assume it's what is in the tablets. I do hope this helps your friend. :)

Thanks both of you I will go take a look and pass it on. I will be fine once the temperature goes down, hope to be a LKA on Saturday.
Can't quite remember Christine. :) I think I must have been a researcher in a previous life, I enjoy finding things out, specially if it helps people. :)
I do find a lot of useless stuff along the way though. ;)
