Back at work at last! The agency found me a non driving/flexible hours job with the council visiting tenants to sign new tenancy agreements for the next 3 months. The little ones are now at their pals from school chuck out till I get home, Satan Filly and Gothboy have keys, and Morse has a dog walker. Hes a lovely man who takes Manic Morse out with some other big/young dogs and phones me at night to say how things are :D Mind you, is this pathetic or what, I nearly cried at the thought of someone else walking my little dog! Its great to be back at work where you never know whats going to happen and I get out and about different properties.

No it's not pathetic, I'd be the same about our dogs! When we had to leave ours at the kennels once instead of at the breeder's as normal, I stopped the car half way up the road to it and sat there blubbing that I couldn't do it!!! Then hubby agreed he would do the actual handing over, so I sat on the car bonnet, had a cigarette and cried and blubbered even more. The lady in the kennel said to hubby, "your wife not coming in then?" and he said "no, she's too upset" and she said "oh, we get a lot of that"!!! I bet Morse is having a whale of a time with his dog walker :)
I'm glad you're enjoying your new work!

Pleased to hear your getting out in the world ;)
I bet Morse loves all those new doggie friends. Think of it like when the children went to school first, you cried they loved it :D

Thats the way to think of it! Im only working 9 till 2 but I think being left alone from 8.30 to 3.15 is too long for him. I take him out for an hour at 6, he sleeps most of the morning and Don the Dogman has him out for an hour at 12 with his pals, then SB takes him out a short evening walk. People think Im weird arranging dog care but working rund the kids!

Well done ! Just when my two kids were at an age when they could come and go without me - we got our older dog. Friends thought that I'd be going back to work full-time, but now I work even shorter hours to take care of the dogs :D Depends what one wants from life, but for us kids and dogs take first place :D Your dogman sounds good - our dogs wouldn't let anybody through the front door :(
Happy Xmas !
