Hi Christine,

Everything is organised, booked, double checked etc etc for our move to Spain.  My husband was due to leave the UK with dog in tow in a van on the 4th January (late pm) with an estimated arrival in Spain on the 6th but.......we have just remembered that its three kings day/christmas day on the 6th so the dilemma/question is, if he crosses the french/spanish border on the 6th what are our chances of being able to get petrol to continue his journey to the south?

Thanks

Lorraine

You won`t have a problem Lorraine :) The petrol stations stay open even on holidays so he`ll be OK, under EU regs there has to be one open every so many km, just make sure the tank doesn`t get too low as sometimes in the more isolated areas it can be a while till you get to one.
Hope it all goes well for him :)
