ok well i finally decided to try a halti on my jack russell and i got the smallest size (0). but when i put it on she just gets the bit that's supposed to be under her chin in her mouth all the time, which kind of defeats the purpose... is it too big for her ? is her muzzle to short ? is there anything else i can try? do u think the gentle leader might fit better ?

aggghhh !

Maybe it is too big? (Mine started off on a size 4 lol) because the halti should sit further bacK on the muzzle so the dog shouldn't be able to get it in his mouth.
I have a link that connects the halti to the collar incase it slips over the head i still have control, i wonder if you try that it may pull it back abit?
Or else could you just clip the lead on the collar and the halti? (Not sure if that would actually hinder the halti).

Hi there    have you tryed a harness, you might find i hard to get a halti for such a sml breed but you can get a wonderfull harness from pets at home thats good for pulling and other problems hope that helps:)

i actually just went to pets at home today and bought one of their harnesses, i must be psychic ! I had to get the extra small one and it just fits, it seems much easier than the previous harnesses ive got her because i can actually leave it on her when i let her off the lead :)

(i also got her a fleecy hoodie cos they looked so cute, i think she's mortified by it though :D )
