got a cocker she is 4 months  is she too young to have a bone at the moment .thanks for any reply

Not at all; as long as it is raw and NOT COOKED!

And get the right sort of bones - I once lost a dog from gnawing some of the knuckle away on a large raw knuckle bone - the fine 'bone flour' formed a ball that stopped the bowel and in spite of veterinary treatment I lost him with acute peritonitis following a ruptured bowel - so BE CAREFUL!!!!!
