Hi - do you have a bitch or a male dog you wish to breed?

We are in Essex and wish to breed our 5 year old KC registered gorgeous dalamtian.
We are looking for a stud to breed her with.

Hope you don't get too upset by this reply

Is your bitch of hearing tested parents & is she hearing tested herself?

Have got homes lined up for the possble other 12-14 puppies?

Have got got room to take back any puppy that needs rehoming?

Are you willing to pay to have all you puppies hearing tested before you sell or advertize them?

Have you got room to run the litter on until they all find suitable homes at maybe 6 months of age?

this is just a few questions you need to ask yourselves before you start thinking about mating your bitch as well as your bitch being quite old for a first litter healthwise being in whelp is the most dangerous time of her life

You risk losing her, losing the puppies or both

Please please think long & hard & contact Dalmatian rescue as they will tell you how many dogs they deal with every year & it will surprise you

The worst time that happened to Dalmatians were the disney films!

People went into breeding overload

Hello

Equally I hope you do not get too upset with this reply. If the damatians went into breeding overload because of the film then they must be hiding them all for Cruella as I cannot find any at all within 150 miles of where I live.

I live in Kent and all the breeders I can find are in the North of England. Yes I can and will travel but I just wanted to point out that breeding overload hasn't reached here yet.

regards and keep smiling

So have you tried the Breed Club for a puppy/breeder list?

Hello, nice of you to reply. Yes have done all of that and have my name down on two Dalmation rescue centres

They did give me details of one, it was a cross with a collie but that didnt matter. What did was the fact that this poor dog was kept in a pub (two hallways) and had no contact with children, cats or any other animals at all. I appreciated the owners candor but was a bit shocked in this dogs living conditions.

Thanks again.
