I have a beautiful almost 16 year old Cavalier bitch who this week has started passing blood in her urine.  She was spayed years ago so obviously not a season.  She is very fit, not ill or even off colour............ any ideas anyone.  I did wonder about a bladder infection.

Have you taken her to the vet yet?  It could be a variety of things that the vet can test for and we cannot.

It could be almost anything but it should be seen by a vet a.s.a.p.

Hi Haylea, could be urine/kidney infection, take a small sample of the urine & take her the vet tomorrow. Hope all gets well & lets know how you go on :)
