Hi,
Following Ambers Radiation treatment she will return to showing she had the intial lump removed,fur has grown back over the small scar and radiation you can't see anything.None of her conformation has been altered ,most people I have spoken with say no my vet said who used to show Clumbers he wouldn't have thought so ,but seek advice.I shall ring the KC in the New Year what do others think?

Hi Briony,
I don't know for sure, but one website I visit has a bullmastiff that underwent the Tibia Plateau Levelling op for cruciate ligament. They later applied to the KC to show the dog again as it was a conformation altering op and permission was granted. KC Reg F(B)3 says "No act or operation which alters the natural conformation of a dog or any part thereof may be performed ...", so there shouldn't be any need, but just in case you have any troublemakers in your breed, I would get a report from your vet & double check with the KC.

Thanks, i'll give them a ring, if I need a lette r of them to continue to show better that way then i'm covered.
