The tree was put up earlier this week. Sal has left it alone in fact shes ignored it completely and its 7ft and covered in lights, decorations but no tinsel (I think that would be to much for her to ignore)
Today put the lights outside twinkling white lights around the front of the house just above the lounge window then on round the porch and right round the garage, then round the back of the house over the kitchen window and round the conservatory then on the wall(that divides next door) down to the big wooden shed/workshop following the apex roof. Then twinkling into the climbers down the garden and finishing up in the conifer at the bottom. Loads of lights needed and thankful now got power in the garage and workshop :D
The ones round the house are white and the ones into the garden are coloured. Also put up the light decs a train set (from Argos) thats about 8ft long, and a few others. Not to over the top though. Everyone seems it like it. In fact I have got fed up of the neighbours asking when they were going up :D
A man over the road has put a Xmas tree on top of his porch and it looks brilliant. I love Christmas :D :D

We put white twinkly lights around the outside of the house ...they look very pretty. Today we went and bought some icicle lights ..not the ' four lights on a string' ones..but the ones that have 24 tubes with white light ...they will be put up in a couple of weeks :)
We saw some remarkable sights on the way home from Linocln today ...one house had a Father Christmas hanging from a stick from the chimney :D :D Love it ;)
Love outside Christmas Lights but our housing association forbids it ( Scrooges) so we just toddle about at night with the Minibeast and Morse looking at other people's displays. My favourite is the flashing sled and the wicker reindeer hung with red and green lights. :D

Yep, we are well decked out with christmas lights this year, front of the house we have lights around the roof, a train with flashing lights, an big Merry Christmas light up sign and at the back an 8' inflatable father christmas with lights inside, 80 lantern lights, a father christmas on his sleigh with his reindeers all lit up, it's great, our neighbours are in their 80's and they love it, they say they are too old to put up decorations and love seeing ours every year!

Don't put any lights outside.
Perhaps when I have children I'll put more decorations up.
Only putting tree up this year and tinsel round the picture frames and on the fireplace.
It just doesn't seem the same without having little ones round.
Don't think main neice and nephew will be visiting this year now their 14 and 12.
Got 2 trees outside that usually have little twinkly ones on one & coloured on the other but cos of the builing site can`t do it this yr. Boy am I going to make up for this next yr :D
Roll on the sales, going to have soooo much fun then!!! :D

Just nipped round to pals house to discover her deccies/tree already up. Have assisted with outdoor Santa climbing up a rope ladder - hung him out the window and it looks as if Ive executed him! Inhaled coffee and left without mince pies as Morse noticed the Christmas Tree while chasing after a teddy at top speed on laminate flooring..... ouch! He fetched all the fallen wooden decorations though.:D
