Hi there.

I had a wee problem with my Lab pup (3mths), he was itching and losing hair on his head - previously posted.

Anyway, to cut a long story short - I've put him back onto Beta Puppy food - after being on a diet of beef mince/potatoes, chicken/rice. He has now started to vomit his food back up - was initially only a wee bit of his meal - but this a.m. it was the whole lot!

I gave him the Beta dry, as I always did in the past - but this a.m. - due to him bringing some of it up - we added some warm water to soften it for him. I'm beginning to think that he has an allergy to Beta - and was gonna go back out and buy something else - any recommendations?

All comments welcome.

If he vomits right after eating he's probably eating to quickly.  Food allergies usually present themselves as itching, soft poo or even ear infections.

If your dog is vomitting several hours after eating it is probably unrelated to the food itself.

I have to say , after reading your posts title I was expecting hear that you had changed your pup to the Barf diet ;) I had to read it through a couple of times to realise you meant vomiting after diet change LOLOL :p

There are other things that can make this happen, don't want to alarm you but it may be a good idea to take your dog to the vet, although if it was alright on previous meals it may just be that Beta doesn't agree with your pup.
