Towel Hound has lost her squeaker. She's desolate without it and refusing to go to bed. She keeps looking under the sofa, but it ain't there.
And I can't get a replacement in Aberdeen, as it's a discontinued line.
So. If anyone sees a Pedigree Petfood Excel Squeaky Bone in Red I am willing to pay the going rate and a box of choccies.
Thanks

E mail me and I'll see what I can do.
I have two of these that my dogs didn't like - in blue and yellow. I sent you an email describing them to make sure they are the right things. I definitely have them (I said in my email I wasn't sure if I did).
let me know if what I've described is what you're after.
Wendy
I'm fairly certain I saw some recently in Pets at Home, think they may have been blue though. I'm going there tonight if you would like me to get you one. Leave a message here and I'll come back and check later :-) Sorry but my dogs won't part with their red one.

Hopefully I have managed to track down a red squeaker, so thanks to all those who have offered help and other coloured squeakers. I'll let you know when I have a happy spaniel again.

The new red squeaker arrived on Saturday morning. She's broken the squeak already, I think she drowned it in clumber spaniel slobber and it now sounds a bit pathetic.
Still she's one happy spaniel and is taking it everywhere with her, even keeps on paw on it whilst she's eating.

Thanks again to all those who offered help.
(Gary - I'll e-mail a piccie.)
I think we need to talk to all those 'experts' who say dogs are colour blind LOL
Glad she's back to her old self.

Wendy,I used to think dogs were colour blind till a a lady came to adopt a labrador from us, she already had a yellow Lab (nuetered male) and was coming to look at a black bitch,as soon as the black bitch came towards him he went barmy barking , hackles up and very strange behaviour,we put her back and brought out her litter sister who was yellow and the dog adored her on sight, playing and being wonderful with her.
I've also noticed that my dogs know regarding which coat I'm wearing...or shoes wether or not its shopping or dog walking, same with gloves if ts the green ones we are off to the park if its the black its shopping.
Some will disagree but how can we explain ?also that its doesnt matter what time of the day I walk my dogs and its never the same time, they know as soon as it pops into your mind.I stopped walking mine first thng in the morning cos they drove me barmy if for some reason we didnt go,so now vary it,but I can be upstairs and look out to see what the weathers doing and then think right we will go now and I come down and they are all going silly at the bottom of the stairs,How do they know ???
It's amazing how smart they are. Ours know Monday is agility day. We could have missed it last week, but come 7pm on Monday and Chelsea is hounding me again!! They get hopeful when we put our running shoes on as opposed to our work shoes as we 'walk or agility train' in those.
and they do seem to know when I'm thinking about taking them with me somewhere either walking or in the car. They are soooo wild. What would I do without them.
