I have a westie pup who is 8 months old now.  I feed him cesar and small bite mix because he won't eat dry food is there anything else I can give him this is my first dog and i have heard thee are things you shouldn't give to dogs.  He has had chicken and loves spaghetti bolognase ( not nice on white dog) is this ok any other suggestions for more variety.

One of my Flatcoats used to be a notoriously fussy eater - nearly drove us crackers.  However, he loved Pasta - great for keeping the weight on!!  Anyway - he is now 10 years old and I am glad to say eats proper food!!!

Hi Guest,

First of all, is your pup healthy and a good weight?

If so, I 'd say there isn't any need to introduce variety into his/her diet.  If what you're feeding already is working, stick with it.
Chicken meat is fine for dogs, but never give chicken bones (you probably know this anyway)  although I think you can give raw chicken wings safely (sure someone will be along who knows more about that)

As a matter of interest, why won't your dog eat dry food?
Mine were a bit reluctant to eat it when i changed from meat & mixer, but they soon got used to it.
There is a dry food called 'Arden Grange' that I would recommend.  It's excellent and I find that my dogs absolutely love it!

Take care
